The Tenant is a students letting website where students can search for and find accommodation to rent during their studies. It also provides a subletting service where students can search for and offer to sublet their accommodation to other students for a period of time.

To use The Tenant, you can start by creating an account and filling out your personal and rental preferences. Then, you can search for properties based on your desired location, price range, and other criteria. Once you have found a property you are interested in, you can enquire about it and reserve it.

Students letting websites typically list a range of properties, including shared apartments, and studio flats in student accommodations.

While students letting websites are primarily aimed at students, anyone can use them to search for and rent accommodation. However, some properties may be restricted to students only, so it is important to check the rental criteria before applying. In case of uncertainty, please do not hesitate to contact us for further assistance.

Students letting websites usually have measures in place to ensure that the properties listed on their platform are safe and secure. This may include checking the landlord’s credentials and verifying that the property meets certain safety standards. However, it is always important to do your own research and check the property before signing a rental agreement.

The Tenant offers a free service to browse for student accommodations, and also has a fee to use their sublets service. The sublet property reservation fee for the property you are interested in taking over is equivalent to half a week’s rent, it is a non-refundable charge.

If you have a problem with your landlord or rental agreement, you should first try to resolve the issue directly with the landlord. If this is not possible, you can seek advice from your student union or local housing authority. The Tenant also has a support team who can provide advice and assistance in resolving disputes.

A student subleasing service is a platform in The Tenant where students can search for and offer to sublet their accommodation to other students for a period of time. This service allows students to advertise their sublet and connect with other students who are interested in renting the space for a short-term period.

To use the subleasing service on The tenant,  you can start by creating an account and filling out your personal information. Then, you can add a sublet post using the form provided on the website. Once you have posted the sublet and received the approval email from the admins to make your post live, you can rest assured that your sublet post will reach other students who might be interested in taking over your lease.

While student subleasing websites are primarily aimed at students, anyone can use them to search for or offer to sublet a property. However, it is important to ensure that the landlord or property owner approves of the sublet arrangement.

The Tenant subleasing service lists a range of properties, including apartments, shared houses, and individual rooms. These sublets are often available for a short-term period, such as during a semester or summer break.

The Tenant has measures in place to ensure that the sublets listed on our platform are safe and secure. However, it is important to thoroughly research the sublet before agreeing to a rental agreement. This may include checking the lease agreement, reviewing any previous tenant reviews, and checking the security of the property.
